Events built on community
At Temora Trotting Club, we love Harness Racing events and horses, but more than that, we love our community. Our club meetings and get-togethers are full of laughter and new friends. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, we would love to welcome you.
Our Races
We host up to five races a year. These events are not only popular for trotting enthusiasts, but are a great get-together for a night or day out with friends and provide wonderful entertainment for the whole family. Please see below for more details of our racing events.
Cost
Admission to the Races is:
General admission to all our Tuesday racing events in 2024 is FREE for everyone.
General admission to the Temora Pacers Cup on 13 January 2024 is $10, 16 & under free. See our Pacers Cup page for more information.
Gates open at 5 pm.

About each Race Meet
You can expect 8 harness races, with half an hour in between each. The first race starts at approx. 6.00 pm and the last at approx. 9.30 pm.
Our club has a Covid-19 safety plan for major recreation facilities (including stadiums, showgrounds and racecourses) in place.
We suggest you bring a fold-up chair and find a place on the large lawn area, where the kids can run and roll. There is plenty of space in the outdoors to enable social distancing.
The kiosk provides a range of cooked food and snacks.
There is also a licenced bar, which will be operating in accordance with the Covid-19 safety plan for restaurants and cafes.
We have an on course tote and bookmakers too!

January Races - Tuesday 3 January 2023
Our first race for the season!
Bring a fold up chair for the large lawn area where the kids can run and roll.
There will be a jumping castle and ice cream van for the kids as the holiday festivities continue.
Our licenced bar and kiosk will be open.
Hot to Trot Carnival of cups - Saturday 14 January 2023
Hot To Trot Carnival of Cups is Temora Trotting Clubs premiere event, with racing and special events.
The carnival atmosphere is created with live music between each race, the Hot to Trot Fashions on the Field competitions and raffle competitions for everyone.
The Narraburra sweepstake is on again this year. You can experience ownership of a horse running in the Temora Pacers Cup for just a $5 ticket. Purchase Narraburra tickets HERE.
There will be mini trotting, free jumping castles and face painting for the kids and of course the mobile ice cream van.

Trot-on Tuesday with a race at the Temora Trotting Club!
Our second February race of 2023 kicks off on February 21. Be sure to bring the family and your mates for some trackside fun. Kiosk, bar and tote will be open.
March Races - Tuesday 7 March 2023
Last chance to get along to the races for 2023.
The season ending March races will be on 7 March 2023. Don’t miss out, get your mates together and get along for the final event of the season! There will be plenty of fun at the Bar and plenty of food at the Kiosk.
